Our Reunion with The Dean Close Foundation
Celebrating a renewed partnership, Zupa and the Dean Close Foundation continue to drive educational excellence through innovative catering management software.
Zupa, creator of catering management software, Caternet, is thrilled to welcome back former client The Dean Close Foundation, following a three year hiatus. The Dean Close Foundation is a growing, vibrant and diverse family of independent schools and nurseries, united by a shared vision and set of values.
Neil Shayle, Commercial Director at Zupa, spoke about working with Dean Close Foundation again:
"It's an absolute pleasure to welcome back Adrian, Peter and the wider Dean Close team to Zupa. After a successful seven year relationship, we stopped working with the company in 2021 when its catering service became fully outsourced. As soon as the team brought the catering management function back in-house, we were delighted that one of the first decisions made was to reappoint Caternet as the platform of choice.”
Echoing this sentiment, Adrian Bowcher, Chief Finance and Operations Officer at Dean Close Foundation reflected on the last few weeks:
"It was an easy decision to decide to work with Caternet and the Zupa team again. It was an unfortunate circumstance to change our catering operation 3 years ago, which sadly meant we had to stop using Caternet. From the first contact to discuss reusing Caternet to contract signing took less than 2 weeks. Their professionalism and the way the Zupa team have continued to support us the last 10 years is testament to their ethos and calibre of people. We are excited for the project to start and benefit from the continual improvements to the software that have been made since we left."
Zupa continues to push its focus and success in the education and contract catering market with recent new client Lunchtime Co, and a contract extension with Kings College School, Wimbledon.
